My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was convenient for exploring the town and attending events at the JPJ venue, but the rooms, especially the ones in the garage, had a strong mildew smell and lacked additional amenities. The dining experience, although inclusive, was uncomfortable due to being seated with strangers, and the early breakfast hours didn't suit everyone.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms in the garage, a short camel ride away, had a distinct mildew smell and only offered one bed without extra amenities. The perfumy odor, likely from air fresheners, was quite strong.
Service

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but there was a terrible musty smell that triggered my asthma. The hotel's location was excellent for my needs, being very central to the event I was attending, but the rooms need refurbishing and an upgrade in the quality of the contents. The service was satisfactory, and the dining experience, although too healthy for my liking, was quite good. The facilities were decent overall.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, resembling some higher-end hotels, but they could definitely use an upgrade. The location was excellent for us due to its proximity to the John Paul Jones Arena, but it might be too far to walk for elderly guests.

The pricing was reasonable, and the location, being part of Mr Jefferson's academic village, offered a superb setting. However, the dining experience, with excellent quality but some awkward seating arrangements, was a bit of a downside.

I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance from the city center and I wanted to experience the University of Virginia. The location turned out to be fantastic, especially being adjacent to Darden. However, the rooms are in a completely separate building, which might not suit everyone's preference.

Rooms

The rooms were nice and well-equipped, but being in a completely separate building from the main area was a bit unexpected. Given the nature of the operation, they may or may not have double or king beds.

I stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms had a perfumy odor that seemed to come from air freshener, which was a bit off-putting. However, the staff was accommodating and moved us to a room in a different building. They also provided a nice touch by leaving daily complimentary bottled water in the fridge.
