I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were neat, clean, comfortable, and quiet, providing a very comfortable and fully equipped environment. The pricing was reasonable, and the location, being part of Mr Jefferson's academic village, offered a superb setting. However, the dining experience, with excellent quality but some awkward seating arrangements, was a bit of a downside.

I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance from the city center and I wanted to experience the University of Virginia. The location turned out to be fantastic, especially being adjacent to Darden. However, the rooms are in a completely separate building, which might not suit everyone's preference.

The hotel is strategically located in Charlottesville, offering exceptional surroundings with cafes, shops, and food nearby. While the rooms may feel a little dated, they are well-suited for business group meetings and graduate-level training classes. The mildew smell could be a drawback, but overall, the experience was good.
