Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was convenient for exploring the town and attending events at the JPJ venue, but the rooms, especially the ones in the garage, had a strong mildew smell and lacked additional amenities. The dining experience, although inclusive, was uncomfortable due to being seated with strangers, and the early breakfast hours didn't suit everyone.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but there was a terrible musty smell that triggered my asthma. The hotel's location was excellent for my needs, being very central to the event I was attending, but the rooms need refurbishing and an upgrade in the quality of the contents. The service was satisfactory, and the dining experience, although too healthy for my liking, was quite good. The facilities were decent overall.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, resembling some higher-end hotels, but they could definitely use an upgrade. The location was excellent for us due to its proximity to the John Paul Jones Arena, but it might be too far to walk for elderly guests.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were old and simple but well-appointed and quiet with all the amenities I needed. Check-in was smooth, and the room was spotless, even under the bed.
What a gem! The hotel offers a cozy stay close to UVA campus at a very reasonable price. The rooms had a pleasant, homey feel, although there was a strong perfumed odor present. The location was excellent for our needs, being within walking distance of the John Paul Jones Arena.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were neat, clean, comfortable, and quiet, providing a very comfortable and fully equipped environment. The pricing was reasonable, and the location, being part of Mr Jefferson's academic village, offered a superb setting. However, the dining experience, with excellent quality but some awkward seating arrangements, was a bit of a downside.
I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance from the city center and I wanted to experience the University of Virginia. The location turned out to be fantastic, especially being adjacent to Darden. However, the rooms are in a completely separate building, which might not suit everyone's preference.
The hotel is strategically located in Charlottesville, offering exceptional surroundings with cafes, shops, and food nearby. While the rooms may feel a little dated, they are well-suited for business group meetings and graduate-level training classes. The mildew smell could be a drawback, but overall, the experience was good.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean, although they had a slightly outdated feel. The decor was lovely overall. The service was top-notch with efficient room service. The location couldn't have been better for exploring Charlottesville and being on UVA's campus. The dining options, while not perfect, were still acceptable and good value for money. The facilities were great and offered everything I needed.
I stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms had a perfumy odor that seemed to come from air freshener, which was a bit off-putting. However, the staff was accommodating and moved us to a room in a different building. They also provided a nice touch by leaving daily complimentary bottled water in the fridge.
